Fifteen photographers emerged from the Proficiency Certificate in Photojournalism, PCPJ, 2019 and 2021′ set and their creative works is currently on exhibition at the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba Lagos.
The exhibition witnessed nine students from the 2019 set and six from the 2021 set.
As expected, the training involved theory and practical sessions. Several photography genres were explored, and compositional elements in photography was taught to the students.
In addition, the participants were exposed to ideal conceptualization, post-production, and ability to create a portfolio of their own based on relevant subject or theme.
The Proficiency Certificate in Photojournalism, PCPJ is a four months program, three months in class and one month on the field.
