The Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), Lagos in its usual practice, commenced the 2022/2023 academic session today with a freshers workshop.
Facilitated by the faculty members of the department of Mass Communication, the workshop has been scheduled to run from Monday, October 17, 2022, through Friday, October 21, 2022. It was factored in as part of the institution’s strategy and deliberate measures to put the new intakes back on track in preparation for the academic session.
Other students expected back on campus as the school resumes today are HND 2, and PGD 2 full time while their colleagues in the part time will join the resumption on Friday October 21, 2022.
The institution which has been on long vacation since July 2022, also resumed with the Academic and Non-academic staff of the institution.
The management however informed the general public that admission into allied and regular courses in the institution is still ongoing.
